In the Red room we have fun learning self-help skills, the children are also still learning about being kind and loving to their friends. We explore the alphabet with our Zoophonics animal friends.  The children have fun finding items from home that start with the letter of the week to share.  We do alot of journaling  and retelling of stories.  We also do alot of learning through play.  We provide many activities for the children to strengthen small motor skills such as cutting and stringing beads.  Another favorite activity in the Red room is tray tasking it helps promote left to right thinking in preparation for pre-reading.  Another exciting element of the Red room is being able to play on the big playground!
