St. Paul’s allows parents to choose one of three available payment plans. Parents may follow a 10-month payment schedule or make 2 semester payments or an annual plan. Tuition payments are due the 1st of the month if paying directly to St. Paul’s using bank bill pay, and the 15th of the month if using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). If paying over 10 months, payments begin August 1st to May 1st. If paying in two semester payments, the payment due dates are August 10th, and January 10th. If paying annually the entire amount is due by August 10th or when the student is enrolled. Tuition is based on a school year. We are closed on major holidays, approximately two weeks for Christmas, Spring break and teacher in-service days. Students who enroll after the beginning of the school year or make changes in program including withdrawal will be charged on a prorated basis.
Parents who are members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church may pay a reduced tuition rate if they have completed the Member Tuition Reduction Policy and are in compliance with church policy. Members must complete the church membership form, including obtaining the pastor’s signature, and submitting it to the school office to qualify for the member rate.
A facility Improvement amount has also been included in the annual tuition fee. This amount assists in improving and upgrading our properties and facilities. The tuition rate also supports the staff with rising health care costs, wages, and retirement.

Application fee: $30 due when submitting the application form
Occasional Use: $12 per hour for preschool and PreK
$18 per hour for Infants and Toddlers
Late pick-up fee: $18 every 15 minutes - Students who are not picked up by 6 p.m. or students who stay five minutes beyond their program time (i.e. after 12:00 p.m. or 3:15 p.m.) a fee of $10.00 will be assessed for every 15 minutes or fraction thereof for each occurrence.
Children who are not fully toilet trained in the preschool program (2 – 5 year olds) will be charged an additional $25 per week ($12.50 per week for Morning Program). Parents must bring diapers and baby wipes.
Sibling Discount – Receive 5% discount on the oldest sibling.
Church Member Discount – Parents who are active church members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Orange will receive 5% reduced tuition if they comply with the Church Members Reduction Policy and attendance standards set forth therein.
REGISTRATION FEE A registration fee is collected for each child enrolled. This fee is non-refundable if the student is accepted or if a spot opens up for your child who is on the waiting list and you decline to take it. The registration fee is used to defray the cost of the educational expenses per pupil.
TUITION POLICY Payment is prepaid. Payment is due whether or not an enrolled child is in attendance. Two weeks of advance notice must be given for any changes in enrollment. Late payment fee of $30.00 and NSF bank charges will be assessed when occurred. If an account becomes two (2) payments overdue, the student will not be admitted to class. The school uses a collection agency to collect any unpaid balance. The registration fee, application fee and current month’s tuition payment are non-refundable and non-transferable. (Advance tuition payment is refundable only when a written statement of withdrawal is received. Tuition will be refunded on a prorated basis.)
DUE DATES: Tuition payments are due the 1st of the month by Bill Pay, or if using Automatic Debit, payments are due on the 15th day of the month whether the 10-month or 2-semester program is being utilized.
GRACE PERIOD: A grace period is permitted only if paying on the 1st of the month by bill pay or money order. If the tuition is not received by the 10th of the month, a late fee of $30 will be assessed if paying over 10 months, and the late fee is $50 if paying by semester. The late tuition payments that do not include the late fee will not be accepted and will remain past due and payable. There will also be a $30 fee (NSF) added to the account in the case of a returned check.
MEMBER RATES: Parents who are members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church pay a reduced tuition rate if they have completed the Member Tuition Reduction Policy, obtain the pastor’s signature, turned the card in to the school office, and are in compliance with the policy (worship attendance, congregational giving, and involvement in areas of school and/or church life).
OVERDUE ACCOUNTS: A written notice from the school office will be sent to families whose accounts are overdue by one payment. If an account becomes two (2) monthly payments or one semester payment overdue, the account must be set up for automatic withdrawal. Also, the student(s) involved may not be admitted to class. In order to be readmitted, the tuition payments must be paid up-to-date including any tuition which became due during the suspension period. All late fees must be paid. Information concerning unpaid tuition will be included in a student’s file should the student transfer to another school without bringing fee payments up-to-date. St. Paul's utilizes a Collection Agency for overdue account.
RE-ENROLLMENT: The annual re-enrollment fee is due in February when re-enrolling students for the next school year. No family will be permitted to re-enroll if any preschool, school age care, elementary school tuition and other fees are unpaid from previous years. Payments must be current at registration.
REFUNDS: The registration fee, re-enrollment fee, application fee and current month’s tuition payment are non-refundable and non-transferable. Advance tuition payment is refundable only when a written statement of withdrawal is received - two weeks advanced noticed to withdraw is required. Tuition will be refunded on a prorated basis.
